Liam is my oldest pride and joy! I didn't know I could love a little thing so much until he was born. He keeps me on my toes and gives me eternal entertainment, being a child diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in 2007. Life is never boring with Liam! He is full of life and love, and God couldn't have given me a more beautiful child.
About Declan
(B: 3-11-07, D: 8-8-07)
Declan is my baby. Words cannot describe how much I love my little angel. At birth he went through more than most ever go through in a lifetime, which is why he's my little fighter. He was born with Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome (BWS), and diagnosed with a Hepatoblastoma (Liver Cancer), Stage 2 at only 1 month of life. He battled for almost 5 months until God decided to call him home. I miss my little D, but know he'll do a great job as Liam's guardian angel! :)
My Dreamer Puppy
Sam (Christmas, 2009)
About Sam
(B: 9-1ish-08)
Samwise Gamgee (AKA "Sam") is our sweet little JRT/Aussie Shepherd mix (we think anyway). He was rescued behind a Chinese restaurant in Dallas and we adopted him after we fell in love with his picture on Craigslist. He is SO smart and such a little love bug!
My Blessed Family
2009 (Minus Our Angel D of Course)
About Luke
(B: 8-9-79)
I am the proudest woman on earth! I have the best hubby (married on December 23, 2001) who I am high-school sweethearts with. We went to college and graduated together at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in May, 2002. Luke is the cutest computer geek in my opinion, and steals my heart every day.
He is the bread-winner of the family as a remote administrator and works for a fabulous IT company in Dallas, TX. In his spare time, he's either listening to talk radio, playing with Legos or anything to do with Star Wars' bad guys (with Liam of course - he he he), watching football, or working out down to his goal weight (he's worked off over 60 pounds and dropping - I am SO proud of him!!). He is my best friend, my better half, and soul mate. :)
About Me, Christy
(B: 5-8-80)
I am a stay at home mom and love every minute of it (most days anyway!). I haven't escaped a challenge or two medically, and was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis (or MG) in 2007 right after I found out I was pregnant with Declan. But I don't let it keep me down! I've been blessed to be able to run 5 and 10k races, and enjoy volunteering at Children's Medical Center in Dallas to get my weekly "baby fix". I LOVE cuddling with those kiddos in need! I also watch other kids from our church during the week, and love spending time with them too. God has truly blessed me and my little family!
It's the first day of October...for some reason we lazed around making faces at each other. Somehow rolling our tongues came up...don't ask me why. Anyway, we found out that Liam can roll his tongue!! LOL
