A Cinderella Day

Never in my life have I had a day like I had on November 8th. It was a day I'll remember for the rest of my life. A true cinderella day!!

Ed and Christian had planned a day of pampering and glamor for me and Luke on Halloween. I had an itinerary!! LOL!!

It all began meeting a personal shopper at Nordstrom to pick out my outfit for the night!!

I picked the green dress. :) I'm so silly in taking pictures in the dressing room at Nordstrom, but hey, it's my first time...I gotta take pictures!! :)

Then I came home only to find the guys completely done with packing the moving truck (like I said - my day of paradise!!!).

Then we met at Ed and Lyz's house and was driven to the Spa/Resort in Dana Point, right on the beach. It supposedly holds the only 5 star restaurant in Orange County, and I could see why!! The girls (Lyz, Anne, and I) began with massages, then met for pedicures with champagne. Then we met at the upstairs restaurant for cocktails and hourderves where we met the guys. They took us to the downstairs restaurant for the most elegant dinner I've ever had. Christian even brought his bottle of wine from 1900 (yes your read right!).

The bottle...

Lyz ordered lobster salt bake (something I've never seen before), baked in a salt crust and cut for you at the table.

Again, another thing I've never had....caviar!! It was put on a single plate of mother of pearl, with mother of pearl utensils. All one piece!! Unbelievable!!

We took a limo home too!! No detail was left undone!! It was by far one of the best nights of my life!!

We got back and the kids were totally out on the couch. Their positions just make me laugh to no end!!

What a great night!!!
